Bittium collects personal data only for the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Statement. Personal data is processed on the basis of a person's consent. Bittium´s purpose for this register is receiving recruitment applications from applicants, processing the applications, and contacting and informing the applicants.
4. Content of the register
Bittium´s recruitment portal contains information that the data subjects (applicants) enter themselves, such as name, contact details, interests regarding employment, CV and other information relevant to recruitment purposes. The recruitment portal registers date of entry for applications and messages sent to applicants via the recruitment portal. Bittium´s Human Resources and recruiting supervisors enter data regarding the status of the applications.

Bittium processes the personal data as long as the legal basis of the collection of personal data exists and the purpose of the collection of personal data is valid or the data subject itself prohibits the processing of personal data related to the data subject. Bittium will implement all reasonable efforts related to rectifications without undue delay.
In the Bittium recruitment portal the applications that are position specific are preserved for 2 years from the ending of the recruitment process. Open applications are preserved for 2 years from the entering date of the application.

In the Bittium recruitment portal the applications that are position specific are preserved for maximum 2 years from the entering date of the application.

Bittium may retain personal data in manual and in digital format. Manual personal data is kept in a locked space. The digital personal data stored in the systems is technically protected by modern protection measures. Manual and digital data can be accessed within the organization only by the appropriate employees who process the personal data as a part of their work. Persons responsible for recruitment activities in Bittium HR and recruiting supervisors have entry to application data. Specific applications may be distributed to key persons related to individual recruitment cases, such as project managers. All distribution of personal data is considered separately regarding the purpose.
Bittium has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful loss, extradition, misuse, alteration, destruction or unauthorized access. The employees of Bittium are obliged to keep the personal data received during the processing of personal data confidential.

The data subject has the right to obtain the personal data related to the data subject. The data subject has the right to receive the personal data in a structured, commonly used machine-readable form. The data subject has the right to request a rectification of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete personal data of the data subject. Bittium applies all reasonable efforts to assure that incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete personal data is corrected. The data subject has the right to prohibit Bittium from processing personal data related to the data subject.
